Composer. Nowak was born on 18th
December 1979 in Gliwice. He attended the guitar class at the
1st and 2nd Degree State Music School in
Gliwice. In 2006, he graduated with honours from the Academy of Music
in Katowice, in the composition class of Aleksander Lasoń. As a recipient of the Moritz von Bomhard Fellowship, he was
taking a two-year MA course (2006-2008) in composition at the University of
Louisville, Kentucky, under the direction of Steve Rouse.
