This collection is intended for novice as well as more advanced guitarists – students of musical schools and centres. The carols have been arranged in a way that makes them technically simple, while yielding an interesting and compelling sound. Apart from the score, the book contains the lyrics of the carols along with harmonisation. Therefore, the carols can be performed as instrumentals or with vocals. Also, chamber music enthusiast can play the carols in a duet, using the harmonisation provided here as accompaniment to the scored version. The score includes a fingering for the left hand and interpretation marks. The comfort of playing was the main criterion in the choice of key.
